Batman has left us.

I don’t normally post things like this but today there was the sad revelation that the man behind the infomus cowl has passed away.

Adam West has hung up the Cape for the last time.

I seen it on the news earlier that he passed away from leukemia and age 88.

For me he will always be Batman. When I was a kid I would come home everyday from school and watch the old 60s TV show. I must have been around 8 or 9.

I had no idea how camp and cringe worthy it really was. All I cared about was that it was Batman.

He had the best Batmobile, all the best gadgets and the coolest Bat-Cave.

Who didn’t want to have that utility belt that had something for every occasion? No one can ever forget the Bat-Shark Repellant.

Now Batman is all dark and broody and that has its place but it need the fun of then series. Not the camp but the fun.

He will be missed.

There was the great line from Batman the movie “Some days you just can’t get rid of a bomb”
